About Us

Christ Covenant Church is a congregation that believes the truth of the Bible applies to all of life. That truth includes how we should worship, how our church is led, and how we should care for others as people of faith. We embrace historic, orthodox Christianity as summarized in the Apostles' Creed, Nicene Creed, and Athanasian Creed. We maintain theological convictions that emerged from the Protestant Reformation and hold to the Westminster Confession of Faith and the Larger and Shorter Catechisms as our doctrinal standards.

In humble reliance upon the Word of God and prayer, our mission is to glorify and enjoy God through worship, discipleship, and witness.

We worship God corporately, privately, and in all of life.

We grow as disciples in Christ individually, and with each other.

We witness by reflecting and proclaiming Christ in our community and around the world. (Matthew 28:18-20)
We proclaim the Good News of salvation through Jesus Christ alone. 

We believe that God's Word clearly sets forth how He is to be worshiped. Therefore, nothing should be offered to God in worship except what He Himself has commanded. In corporate worship we read the Bible, preach the Bible, pray the Bible, sing the Bible, and see the Bible in the sacraments. The reading and preaching of the Word of God are the central focus of our worship. We believe this is best accomplished through the careful, Spirit-filled exposition of Scripture. Normally, this means working verse by verse through a book of the Bible.
